GS1 UPC Barcodes (8 GTINs)

Individual licensed UPCs (GTINs) from GS1, which identify your company as the sole brand owner of that barcode. There are no annual ongoing renewal fees for GS1 Single UPC assignments. Unlike GS1 packages for quantities 10+, which include a brand-specific GS1 Company Prefix, there are limitations to single GS1 UPC assignments (see below).

The GS1 Barcode Service provides the necessary support from an assigned BCG certified consultant who coordinates the processes enabling your company to create an individual UPC barcode with accurate item identification. In addition to a personal support consultant, a high-resolution barcode graphic file (.eps) is included. Complete the information below and click on PLACE ORDER to begin.

After checking out, you will be prompted with illustrated directions on how to enter your brand and product information to initiate the process. After GS1 licensing payment ($240) is completed, your single UPC (GTIN) will IMMEDIATELY be emailed and your consultant will provide the correctly sized .eps barcode file.

PLEASE NOTE: In 2022, all GS1 Service orders include complimentary access to GTIN.Cloud, which is the repository and management portal for UPC Product data. To place an order:

Since the inception of the UPC, Bar Code Graphics (BCG) has been the trusted US authority for providing precise UPC/ISBN barcodes. The total fee for 8 GS1 UPC barcode assignments is $390. The BCG GS1 Barcode Service Fee ($150) is due now and the $240 GS1 license fee will be paid directly to GS1 US during application submission. GS1, the global standards organization, licenses GS1 Company Prefixes and offers educational webinars for GTIN support. Companies that need to identify medical devices, pharmaceutical products, variable measure products, mixed cases or intend on producing coupons need to license a GS1 Prefix rather than single GS1 US GTINs.
